About Cathy
Cathy has worked in learning and development for over 20 years but has lost none of her love and commitment for the valuable work that she does.
She has a huge amount of experience in the design and delivery of leadership, management and personal development and coaching is one of her main passions. (To date she has approximately 1,200 coaching hours experience under her belt!)
Her background
Cathy’s career began in retail management where she was often rewarded for outstanding performance with perks that included a holiday in Kenya and a weekend in Paris travelling by Concord!
As a manager she soon realised the importance of developing her team which became a great passion for her and the first step to her change in career.
Her training
Cathy is driven by creating inclusive, interactive and enjoyable learning experiences with clear transferals to the workplace.
She is CIPD qualified, an Insights Discovery licensed facilitator, NLP Business and Coach Practitioner andILM qualified coach.
Cathy has worked with a number of public and private sector organisations, including health, telecommunications, utilities, non-profit, local council, retail and defence.
Prior to working with Active Consulting in 2016, Cathy (whilst working for BAE Systems) and Nathan won the ‘EMEA Skillsoft Inspire Award 2015 Best Blended Learning Project’ for the design and delivery of an innovative, blended leadership programme.
